Sammy Haroon is the Founder and CEO of AlphaX Decision Sciences, delivering AI-native SaaS software to the O&G upstream and E&P investment sectors. He is the AI Venture Advisor to Arka Labs of Menlo Park. He founded and led the Baker Hughes's Palo Alto Innovation Center. His executive roles include Proctor & Gamble, and at GE Energy (in wind and solar). His notable entrepreneurial exits include Saffron Technology, a cognitive computing company acquired by Intel, and Accurate Electronics, smart meter wireless IP sold to GE.
Sammy has published and/or presented at CERAWeek, Hart Energy, MEOS, ASEE, ASME, IJEE, AAPG, OTC, and ADIPEC conferences, and co-authored an academic book. He has been or is on the Boards at Stanford, Georgia Tech, OU, and ASU.
Sammy is Nuclear Engineer from Georgia Tech. His interests include ultra-endurance cycling, race car driving, and a solo climbing.
